i have at least two dozen of kitchen knives that i badly need to throw away. they are dull and i cant even use them any more. But how should i properly throw them away. Do i just put them in a trash bag and throw them away in the garbage? Or do i have to wrap the up in newspaper and then throw them away? Give me some ideas... Thanks

I have a fairly expensive set of kitchen knives that are getting rust spots on them. They are not dishwasher safe, so I hand wash them. I always hand dry, but even if they sit in the sink until the end of the day when I wash them, they accumulate rust. What is the best way to remove the spots.

Should I throw them away or clean them, and if I do throw them away, what is a proper way to discard knives?
